CHARM-ing new quilt....

For a little while now, I have been searching, and searching.... and searching for the perfect fabric to make new bedding for my girl-babe's bedroom.... Well, I am pleased to say that I have finally found something that has fit into the picture I have in my minds' eye.... What do you think of this????

I've purchased a charm pack... what's a charm pack you ask??? It's a pack of pre-cut 5" squares that includes the whole range of fabric in a line.... So I've chosen the Central Park line by Kate Spain.... aren't these the YUMMIEST looking patterns E-VER???? I think they'll work up really nice into the perfect size quilt for my girl-babe's little toddler bed.... I'll just need to get my hands on some yardage from the same line (slated to be released this month.... patiently, I wait).... the hard part will be to pick just one or two fabrics for a pillowcase and bedskirt.... what a dilemma.... how can I pick just one or two???? Any suggestions on which I should pick????

As for paint colour.... I'm thinking this link;
http://www.cil.ca/my-swatch/palette/162216231621/ a smoky, hazy purple.... something soft and muted.... with some green accents.... Any thoughts????

Have a warm and cozy weekend everyone ;)

  4. Thanks ladies :)

    I'm thinking the 4th over at the top for the trim on the pillowcase and the bedskirt; the main body of the pillowcase, I'm liking 6 down and 3 over.... of course that could all change when I actually have the charm pack in my hands... too many choices :S

  5. Of course you know I am loving the New York/ Central Park. Love the colors. I think once you have the fabric the paint colors will speak to you. Of course if I had a girly girl I would be all about lilac or pink!
